About Me
Hi. My Name is Vicky…
I am a friendly, caring, positive dog lover!
Here is some info on my past and present, I completed my first Degree in Social Science (BA) which led me to a carer, working with adults who have acquired brain injuries, I did my training for this with Leonard Cheshire. This then led me to completing my second degree in children’s nursing. I have worked for the NHS for 12 years as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, in which I support families during difficult times as well as providing specialised care to sick & pre-term babies.
Following from COVID-19 working on within an intensive care environment and not being surrounded by my extended family and friends, I lost myself! Looking back to this time, I appreciate how my dogs got me through this tough time. I was practicing my gratitude, some days, my only positives were my pups! They made me leave my house to go for a walk, see nature and speak to other people! I will be forever grateful to Tilly and Daisy, the 2 dogs I had during this time!
Whilst I still practice in the profession within the NHS, I am passionate about the love I provide to my dogs and I have built a business ‘Puppy Pawfection’ to share the love of my well trained, friendly fur babies. I am offering a number of puppy services including… pawfect puppy relaxation sessions from our puppies home, pawfect puppy therapy to support people within their own home and pawfect parties which will be individualised on each occasion. I have completed an animal therapy assisted course to provide the best experience I can to help & support others and to ensure my dogs feel safe, secure & loved a all times.
I am also fully CRB checked.
